Tyler is a passionate birder and naturalist who was born and raised in Hopewell Valley, and brings eight years of stewardship experience to FoHVOS. He is a licensed bird bander and director of the nonprofit Wild Bird Research Group, Inc., conducting research on owls, hummingbirds, and songbirds from New Jersey to Costa Rica. Tyler is currently a board member of the Washington Crossing Audubon Society, an undergraduate student of Ecology, Evolution and Natural Resources at Rutgers University School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, and the owner of Piedmont Ecological Services, LLC.
