Gemma is a botanist with particular interests in plant community health, rare plant populations, mapping, and species identification. Gemma has been working with FoHVOS as a Stewardship Contractor since 2015. Working in the woods and in the office, she leads surveys and studies related to rare plants, geographical analysis, and land use history. She has a degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources from Rutgers University and previously worked with the NJ Natural Heritage Program.
