Liz McLaughlin has been a FoHVOS trustee since 1990. She is employed as a forensic scientist. Liz received a B.S. degree in Biology from Wagner College on Staten Island. She is a member and past president of the New Jersey Association of Forensic Scientists (NJAFS). As vice president of NJAFS she chaired two seminars for police officers and other of the law enforcement community to inform them of how forensic scientists can help them in their daily work. She also holds a membership in the Society of Forensic Toxicologists.

Liz, together with her friend and former FoHVOS board member Terri Bachman (now deceased) was a dedicated activist throughout the 9-year campaign for the preservation of Baldpate Mountain. She has resided in Titusville since 1979.
