Marjorie Kaplan has been a member and Trustee of FoHVOS since 2015. Her career in the nexus of natural resources, environmental sciences, and public health, includes 10 years in the private sector, over 20 in state government and since 2011 she has been at Rutgers University in her current role as Associate Director of the Rutgers Climate Institute. She has served on the Boards of the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association and Congregation Kehilat HaNahar (where she continues to run community service programs) and on the Delaware Valley Interfaith Council. As a volunteer stream monitor for almost 20 years, she has trained numerous students and adults. She is also a FoHVOS Private Land Steward. She and her husband reside in Pennington, NJ where they raised their two daughters.
