Born and raised in Hopewell Valley, Dana is a naturalist with a passion for conservation and ecology. She is a board member of the nonprofit Wild Bird Research Group, Inc., which conducts research on owls, hummingbirds, and songbirds. Focusing on fieldwork and research, she has extensive experience with radio telemetry, primarily working with reptiles and migratory owls. Dana also has expertise monitoring rare species of plants and animals, and managing stewardship activities to support their populations. She joined the FoHVOS team to help preserve the rare and native species in our area and to help maintain healthy and diverse environments.
