Bruce Weise has been a member and Trustee of FoHVOS since 2014. He recently retired after a forty two year career in commercial banking where his assignments were primarily in senior credit risk management positions. Most recently he was with Sun National Bank and Bank of America where his responsibilities included managing credit risk exposure to not for profit institutions. Bruce served as member of the Hopewell Township Planning Board in the 1990s and has served in financial and audit oversight positions for various not for profit entities. He presently is chair of the finance committee and assistant treasurer for St. Matthews Church, Pennington and treasurer for Trinity Counseling Service, Princeton. Bruce is a graduate of American University, majoring in finance and of Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He has resided in the Hopewell Valley area since 1975 and Pennington and Hopewell Township since 1981 where he and his wife raised their three children who all attended Hopewell Valley schools. Bruce is an avid road bicyclist and enjoys the excellent riding opportunities in our area in part due to the abundance of open space.
