Please join Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space on Sunday, February 16 at 9AM for the Great Backyard Bird Count at the Thompson Preserve on Route 654. We will be helping to count birds to take a real time snapshot of birds in our area. Our list will help researchers learn about how birds are doing, if populations are changing or remaining stable. We will walk the trail and count what we see and hear. The list will then be submitted to eBird, a website dedicated to birds.
