FoHVOS Force of Nature Annual Gala 2018
Glenmoore Barn, Hopewell 105 Pennington-Hopewell Road,, Hopewell, NJ, United States
Learn the process of restoring a 6-acre forest at the Mount Rose Preserve in Hopewell Township from Dr. Michael Van Clef, FoHVOS Stewardship Director and Jared Rosenbaum, Botanist with Wild Ridge Plants. The workshop will start at the FoHVOS office and end with a walking tour of the restoration site.
FoHVOS will have a table at the Hopewell Harvest Fair, an annual fall event that brings together community groups, local businesses, civic organizations, and individuals to celebrate our area and all it has to offer.
Grab your binoculars and join this early morning bird hike with FoHVOS Land Stewards Tyler Christensen and Beth Craighead on the first day of fall on the Forest Trail at Mount Rose Preserve. This newly acquired preserve provides a variety of habitats for a number of interesting bird species. Our focus will be on identifying winter migrant and resident birds that are found at the preserve.
